The moral to this story can be profound and significant to everyone with a human heart. The Queen's Pawn is the first collaborative effort by C.C.Walton and Luke Ramsey. The two artists are also long time friends. The images for this book were created during C.C.Walton's Islands Fold residency in March, 2007. The original paintings were made with gouache, water color and ink on high quality scroll sized pieces of paper.

We've only included the eight and ninth pages on this website. This is to uphold a pleasant surprise, for people who might read this little book in their hands, while drinking tea in the outdoors. The other pictures are included for a little more insight into this beautiful tale.
